With over thirty years of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Julie was Director of an in-home family stabilization program for many years. Among her areas of expertise are working with depression, couples counseling, family preservation, and working with adult survivors of abuse.

Julie is married and the mother of a blended family of four children. She is blessed with six beautiful grandchildren. In addition to over thirty years of clinical experience, she has much life experience on which she is able to draw in assisting clients. Julie enjoys many types of music and is an avid player of the Irish whistle. The ukulele is her most recent musical passion. She enjoys time with family, kayaking, walking the beautiful terrain of North Florida and North Carolina, art, travel, dogs, rainy days, mountains, birds, and spiritual pursuits.
